The Lion King

    Yesterday afternoon, Kristen and I watched "The Lion King" before our naps. As we watched, we started making connections to the gospel and we both had our minds completely blown!

Simba = Us
Mufasa = Heavenly Father
Scar = Satan
Rafiki = the Prophet
Timon & Pumba = nonmember friends, who become converted to the gospel? (Kristen and I weren't really sure about that one)
Hyenas = Satan's followers
Sarabi = our Heavenly Mother
Nala = eternal spouse

The list can go on and on...both of us were crying while watching...not necessarily because Mufasa dies and whatnot, but because it was absolutely amazing to see so many parallels.

Remember who you are. If you do that, then you are remembering Heavenly Father because He lives inside each of us.
